No Longer...

I am convinced that our nation, God forgive us, is so far from it's roots that it can no longer be called a Christian nation. Led by the politicians in Washington there is so much hatred between members of the different political parties. Neither side can see past their own noses long enough to realize that both have faults. They participate in name-calling to the worst degree. The United States may as well be a big mud hole in which the world's largest wrestling match is taking place. It is violent. People on both sides are receiving hate mail and threats to their well-being. What has our world come to? We have a government that no longer values the Constitution. We have leaders that are less interested in listening to the people they represent and more concerned about their own selfish gain. Where are the George Washingtons and Abraham Lincolns of this world? People who serve selflessly and tirelessly for the people? Our forefathers must be turning in their graves. Hopefully they are blissfully ignorant of the downward spiral of what they worked so hard to achieve.
